Organization Chart

Mr. Vedat YANIK, born in 1964, in Güneysu district of Rize, has a bachelors’ degree in Mining Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University, and another bachelors’ degree in Law from Marmara University.

Having started his career in private sector in 1986 as an engineer in underground and open coal mines, he continued as a supervisor in projects of MTA’s District Directorate of Central Anatolia in 1990. He then furthered his career as a part of MTA’s District Directorate of Central Anatolia as Drilling and Excavation chief engineer and acting General Manager.

Between the years of 2017-2019, Mr. Vedat YANIK undertook the role of Deputy General Manager of MTA, with the ministral consent of 12/07/2019 continued as the Deputy General Manager of MAPEG, now serving as the acting General Manager of MTA by the ministral consent dated 12/01/2022.
