1:250 000 Scale Active Fault Map of Turkey Series

These series are 59 sheets at 1:250,000 scale. Except for a few areas where faults were densely located, the maps in this series show the original fault geometry as presented on the 1:25,000 scale base maps. The majority of the Holocene and Quaternary faults were named separately and each were shown on the maps. However, the segment name of the faults outside the zone of the North Anatolian Fault and the East Anatolian Fault were not presented. Surface ruptures were used for the segmentation of the North Anatolian Fault and each segment was defined by the related earthquake.
