1:25 000 Scale Basic Active Fault Maps

The comprehensive active fault database at 1:25,000 scale comprises 1962 sheets for the Turkish mainland. All the basic active fault maps are archived in both analogue and digital forms at the Map Archive of the Geological Research Department of MTA and the Geological Database of Turkey, respectively. The classifications, fault type, and related explanations are given on each map in detail. The digital forms of the maps in GIS environment are available for institutions, organizations or individuals for a particular fee.
